Who Lynched Lee Prechaun? (8 players) 17.99

The quiet little Irish town of Killfenny is both picturesque and traditional. There is one tavern, one church and one village hall. Life in the village has continued pretty much as it has done since it was first constructed in 1901 and all the residents are happy, at least, they were until recently”

Lee Prechaun, the current owner of the Prechaun Family Estate and lease holder of nearly half of the village buildings, has decided to drag Killfenny into the 21st century kicking and screaming. He has plans to demolish over half the village and modernise the area with an extensive pleasure complex and designer shopping mall.

The villagers are up in arms and an urgent meeting is called in the village hall to oppose the plans. However, when the villagers arrive they find that someone has already dealt with the proposal! Lee Prechaun is dead. Strung from the rafters!

The police have been called in and now all the villagers are suspects. The question is: Who actually lynched Lee Prechaun?

The suspects:

  • Michael Flatfeet- Irish Dancer.
Inventor of Riverbounce, Michael is always dressed in black trousers and a silky shirt, ready to high kick in time to any music.

  • Molly Malone - Fishmonger.
A pretty girl despite her apron, Molly is a bit of a heart throb and rarely without her cockles and mussels alive alive-o.

  • Father Ned - Priest
In dog collar and typical black attire, Father Ned is a quietly spoken kind gentleman with a strong streak of sarcasm.

  • Dani Boye - Irish Singer
Ethnically dressed, and blessed with her own guitar, Dani cannot help but break into song even when the pipes, the pipes aren't playing.

  • Toby Shure - Estate Labourer
A hard worker in checked shirt, Toby is rarely seen without his barrow, spade or plough.

  • Ginny Ess - Pub landlady
A fiery red-head, Ginny's smile compliments her ample bust and barmaid appearance.

  • Seamus All - Jockey
Rarely without his riding hat, and often seen in jodhpurs Seamus' colours are as popular on the racing field, as he is with the girls.

  • Anna Domini - Historian.
A specialist in the Book of Kells, Anna is as ornamented as the letters she researches, with clashing colours and gold decorative touches.

Never run a murder mystery before? Then don't panic!

There is no special acting required. Guests do not need to memorise any information, and everything they need to play their parts is provided to them in a handy printable booklet. The games are constructed so that everyone has to interact, and scripted dialogues are included to help break the ice and get everyone into character. Even total novices get into the swing of things quite quickly!

The game includes the option of either a sound file, or a script for Inspector Jimmy Crikey who provides the setting, clues, and summaries for each round, as well as the final solution. Which means as host, you too can play and remain completely in the dark as to the culprit.
