Due to global warming and the receding polar ice caps, Father Christmas and his wife Mary have been forced to consider relocating their facilities.
Never one to miss the chance of a load of loot for the business, or the waves of worldwide free publicity, Mary Christmas persuaded Mr Christmas to hold a bidding convention for the right to host the whole Christmas operation. As a result, rather than just upping reindeer and moving, this last week has seen Santa's grotto play host to 12 ambassadors from potential countries.
After a week of wheeling and dealing and exchanging supports, the votes are in and it is now down to Mr and Mrs Christmas to cast their own deciding votes.
Unfortunately with just a few hours to go before the worldwide live TV link of the Christmas' final decision, Mrs Christmas has been discovered dead. And not just dead, but brutally murdered!
The question is ” which one of the 12 ambassadors stood to gain the most?
The Suspects:
Sean Sallizay - French ambassador.
A real smoothy, Sean Sallizay is a ladies man, very vain and a fine dresser ” at least he thinks so!
Lacey Smalls - Canadian ambassador
A fine, handsome woman and a real country girl with a major interest in saving the planet.
Baron don Bergemeister - German ambassador
A traditional fun-loving, thigh-slapping German, he loves wearing lederhosen, drinking steins of beer and eating sauerkraut and sausages. Indeed, if he were to wear a red suit he could possibly even pass for Father Christmas himself.
May Kin Cheepi - Chinese ambassador
Petite, smart, and a very highly strung lady, May Kin Cheepi has an interesting way with the English language and a love of intoxicating perfume.
Bud Weiser - American ambassador
Loud, brash, suited and booted motormouth with a foul temper, Bud Weiser is actually very shy (particularly with women) and hides behind this loud façade.
Pasha Mina - Russian ambassador
Stunningly attractive and knows it. Pasha Mina wins more business contracts through her looks than her negotiating skills.
Joey Fosters - Australian ambassador
A typical Aussie, always with a beer in his hand, shorts and T-shirt whatever the weather and a crass pick-up line for a girl, although his winning smile nearly always wins them over.
Maggie Hatchet - British ambassador
A hard line, hard-nosed ex-politician with a low tolerance level for the stupid, Maggie prefers to remain professional and always wears a smart business suit to any gathering.
Kari Mebagsson - Norwegian ambassador
A quiet and unassuming man and something of a gentle giant. Dressed all in black he has a presence that ensures everyone listens when he speaks.
Suni Wokman - Japanese ambassador
Studious and serious, Suni Wokman dresses plainly and sensibly.
Winston Loosum - African ambassador
A thoroughly modern African gentleman with a smart suit, some smart words and a massive laugh which he only uses for his own unbelievably bad jokes.
Madhur Zahatta - Indian ambassador
A typical, highly excitable Indian woman that dresses in updated traditional styles that reflect the growing influence of Bollywood.
