The Transylvanian, a popular nightclub in town, is holding its yearly anniversary party. Mike Hobb, the club owner has sent out invitations to only a handful of friends and social elite to attend the gala event and have a howling good time. Unfortunately, poor Mike will never get to enjoy the party as he has been found dead at the bottom of the wine cellar stairs! Was his death due to natural causes”¦. or was it murder?
Some things might prove to be a bit “twisted” at the Transylvanian”¦ Help Detective I.C. Moore and the other guests figure out what really happened.
John Wolfman - Disc Jockey.
With a wild mane of hair and a howling voice, John has earned himself the nickname “Wolf”. He's never without a repertoire' of tunes that might be requested.
Pam Pyre - Disco Dancer.
Never one to be out danced and the ultimate vamp; she flashes her elongated cuspids proudly while wearing her signature black dress and long scarf.
Mumford “Mummy” Clummsie - Security Doorman.
A bit of a bungler, especially when shaving. Mumford is usually seen with bits of tissue paper all over his face and body, which he uses as his disposable bandages. He carries a back up roll of tissue with him at all times.
Evva Reddy - Barmaid.
Familiar with just about any cocktail recipe, Evva can shake her shakers and swizzle a stick with ease. Her specialty drink is the “Zombie” and she dresses like one, too!
Frank N. Stein - Playboy.
Even with scars on his face and a permanent neck injury, Frank's image as “a man about town” has not been dampened. He sports a flat top haircut and a dark coloured suit.
Ivanna Hunt - Safari guide.
Just back from the deepest part of Africa, Ivanna wears her traditional safari boots, jodhpurs and helmet, with a whip at her side and a watch on her wrist.
Casper White - Scientist.
Pale from years of being in the lab, Casper runs straight from the lab to events all dressed in white and carrying an array of scientific gadgets.
Lucy N. D'Skyes - Socialite.
Something of a “snob” and dripping with diamonds, Lucy always wears the latest fashions and only accepts the most exclusive party invitations.
Freddie Crewgear - Fireman.
The most awarded fireman on the force; Freddie has a few burn scars, but that doesn't stop him from carrying his long hose proudly while wearing his favourite striped tee shirt and fireman's hat.
Carrie Bloodsworth - Stockbroker
With her red hair, pink dress and demur demeanour, one would never guess her ruthless side on the floor of the Stock Market during business hours.
Jacques Rippiere - Surgeon.
An internationally famous plastic surgeon, he is one of the last remaining doctors who might make a house call. He always carries his surgery tools, a mirror and medical bag with him, “just in case”.
Elvira Ebony - Goth movie star.
Famous in many cult classics, her claim to fame is her black mullet hairstyle, black eye makeup, and quick wit.
Never run a murder mystery before? Then don't panic! There is no special acting required. Guests do not need to memorise any information, and everything they need to play their parts is provided to them in a handy printable booklet. The games are constructed so that everyone has to interact, and scripted dialogues are included to help break the ice and get everyone into character. Even total novices get into the swing of things quite quickly! The game includes the option of, either a sound file, or a script for Inspector I. C. Moore who provides the setting, clues, and summaries for each round, as well as the final solution. Which means as host, you too can play and remain completely in the dark as to the culprit.
