Wavingsfield is a well-to-do town, on the outskirts of Beverly Hills. Wavingsfield School boasts good academic results, runs a celebrated high school musical every year, and is home to the famous Wavingsfield Bucks, the premier team in the high school football leagues. With all this to be proud of most communities would be content ”“ but not Wavingsfield. Oh no! Wavingsfield also boasts an award winning cheerleading squad known as “Starburzt”�.

As one could expect, competition is stiff among the girls in Wavingsfield for the Starburzt squad, but no-one would have believed just how competitive it was until Nora Lyve, the newest addition to the Starburzt squad was found dead in the store room.

Only in her second term at the school, one would have thought that Nora hadn't had the time to make any enemies, but strangely there is no shortage of suspects amongst her team mates, school friends and the Starburzt club committee members.

The suspects:

• Sunnie D. Light - The golden girl.
  Beautiful Sunnie, leading member of the Starburzt cheerleading team, knows just what to wear to tune in to the latest fashion trends.



• Jane Planer - Odd jobs Jane can fix it!
  The maintenance person around the clubhouse, Jane's tool belt is never far away. She goes everywhere in overalls and protective boots.



• Virginia Planer - A strong, plain flower
  Mum struggles to make ends meet, so Virginia makes do with supermarket brand sports clothes or hand-me-downs.



• Dustie Bouquet - Dustie will always leave a shine.
  The gossiping cleaner at the Starburzt club, cheery Dustie is always seen with her overalls, bucket, polish and duster.



• Justine Has been - Justine has been there, seen it, done it.
  Justine is an ex-professional cheerleader, hanging on to history. She still has the stories, tracksuits and trainers from the good old days!



• Chloe Subbut - The nearly girl.
  Chloe wears the rights clothes in the wrong combinations. Not quite in with the “in”� crowd, but that just makes her try even harder...



• Candy Gastly - Sweet by name, not by nature.
  You are a dead ringer for pop star Pink ”“ and dress to accentuate it, with your aggressive punk style and your fishnet stockings.



• Imogen Ryno - All fast food and feisty, look out when Ryno charges!
  An angry young woman, dressed to suit. A cheerleader? No way. Imogen would never dream of being so girly.



• Mannie Talks - Classic car and classy clothes!
  A young, stylish, confident but brash committee member, Mannie's designer labels reflect her love of one-upmanship.



• Cara Hawker - Life's been cruel to poor old Cara!
  Club treasurer Cara's high life and gladrags are looking downtrodden now. But is she bitter? Better believe it!



• Sian Bollick - Sian might be organised. One day.
  Forgetful, dotty, disorganised, Sian is lucky if her shoes match each other, let alone her outfit. ”¦ which may well be inside out.



• Robyn Mind - She's loving angels instead.
  Always wearing her fan club regalia, Robyn speaks fluent “Robbie lyrics”�. Robbie Williams is her only interest in life.

• Fran Sparant - Support for the Starburzt team.
  Too plain to make the cheerleading squad, Fran is content to join them on tour supplying the girls with refreshments between routines.



• Leah Tard - Cheerleading coach.
  With large pompoms and a short skirt, Leah really knows her stuff and isn't afraid to show off.



• Kiki De'Leggs - French exchange student.
  With fabulous legs that she loves to show off, Kiki really makes the most of her mini-skirted cheerleading outfit.



• May Kowt - Early developer.
  All bust and hormones, May is into excessive make-up, revealing clothes and is way ahead of the other girls in her year.



• Ginny Tonic - Beauty school drop out.
  A rebel at school, Ginny carries a hip flask and is often tempting other girls into bad behaviour.



• Ali Upp - Gymnastic instructor for the Starburzt team.
  Forever coaching the girls in their ever more adventurous gymnastic routines, Ali is fit, sleek and likes to show off her body.



• Polly Ester - Fashion victim.
  With fake tan, fake lashes, fake nails and fake hair extensions, Polly just loves her bling, and can't get enough!



• Lauren Hooper - The archetypal bored teenager.
  Dressed in tracksuit bottoms and hoodie, she's not really into cheerleading. But then, she's not really into anything.

• Inspector Laura Norder
  Efficient in her own methodical way, Laura Norder has an unusual method of solving crimes ”“ she involves everyone!

Never run a murder mystery before? Then don't panic!

There is no special acting required. Guests do not need to memorise any information, and everything they need to play their parts is provided to them in a handy printable booklet. The games are constructed so that everyone has to interact, and scripted dialogues are included to help break the ice and get everyone into character. Even total novices get into the swing of things quite quickly!

The game includes the option of either a sound file, or a script for Inspector Laura Norder who provides the setting, clues, and summaries for each round, as well as the final solution. Which means as host, you too can play and remain completely in the dark as to the culprit. However, with a large group - it should be noted that the addition of a "real" inspector really helps the enquiry!

To try and create a game that doesn't last 5 hours, the extra suspects included in this game (suspects 13-20) only have one answer each round rather than two. We are able to ammend the game to include any number of the extra suspects mentioned. As the game is reformatted each purchase (to accomodate the different requirements of each customer) please allow us 2 working days to email you the downloadable version of the game you require.
