High Gables Hospital has a good reputation. The staff are, in the main, friendly and helpful and the hospital is clean and hygienic. Standards are high, even in the hospital canteen, a true rarity in the medical world!

Unfortunately during a routine inspection of the hospital today, a problem was discovered, namely a dead body in the hospital canteen.

On closer examination the dead body was discovered to be none other than a gentleman of some repute, the head surgeon Mr Richard (Ricky) Mortice.

Fellow staff have gathered at the canteen to discuss his death and to uncover, if possible, what caused it.

  Young, energetic and dressed a little too revealingly, Penny seems more interested in catching men than treating them.



• Dr. Pete Eadtricks - Doctor of Paediatric Medicine
  Bouncy, fun and used to talking to children, Pete Eadtricks often sports a checked bow tie and joke shop trick accessories.



• Annie Stetic - Anaesthetist
  In surgical gowns or white coat, Annie is a chatty conversationalist who is often found talking to herself, she has to, her patients are always falling asleep on her!

• Dr Gerry Atrics - Retired doctor
  Called back from retirement due to low staff levels Dr Gerry Atrics is somewhat unpredictable and cultivates a mad scientist look.



• Florence Nightjar - Night sister
  Strict, authoritative and brisk, Florence Nightjar is smart and traditional when it comes to her uniform preferences and patient care.



• Dr Matt Ernity - Obstetric surgeon.
  Dishevelled from too many late nights, Matt Ernity is unfocused and looks as though he has dressed in the dark, which is usually the case ”“ why is it most babies are born at night?



• Steph Oscope - Physiotherapist
  Efficient and fun Steph is a keep fit fanatic and keen to keep both patients and staff in peak condition.



• Dr Guy Nicology - Junior Doctor
  Quick to crack a joke or see the funny side of any situation, Guy Nicology is a prank loving junior doctor who dresses trendily and loves to flirt.



• Glenda Crinology - Student Doctor
  Nervous and studious, Glenda is never seen without her notebook and pen, textbooks, stethoscope, reflex hammer and a multitude of other medical paraphernalia.

Never run a large group mystery before? Then don't panic!

Hosting a Large Group Murder Mystery is time consuming, but with ample preparation and a good cast it is really quite simple and great fun!

In large group games it is impossible to give everyone a part, instead the mystery involves “cast members”� who are fully in the know and act out the mystery, and the guests act as detectives trying to solve the murder.

Large group games come in several different formats, clue based, cast based, multi-room, single room, or a mixture of them all.

This particular game requires 7-13 cast, and one large room. It also has an option of a series of paper clues. Guests will also need paper and pens. This game works best as a sit down event with 6-12 tables of guests who work as a team, but the game can be adapted to suit most formats of events.

The game contains two options. Option 1: All clues are provided by cast members. Option 2: Guests receive questions to ask the suspects (cast members) on paper, and have to find out the answers to these questions from the cast.
