Traditional murder mystery meals

The most common murder mystery evenings used by restaurants and hotels are the type acted out by a small troop of actors while the guests eat a three course meal. We are able to provide these events and stock a variety of pre-written games in our large group mystery section as “single room cast based mysteries”. However, this isn’t the only options available to you.

Multi-room events

Many businesses look to our “multi-room” events to get the maximum return on their murder mystery investment. Multi-room murder mysteries typically make use of 6 rooms in your venue allowing you to fill your chosen venue to capacity.

These are not sit-down affairs. Instead guests walk between the rooms collecting clues and interviewing suspects as they go. We usually suggest a roving buffet for these types of events and they are very popular for weddings as well as events in small hotels without a large dining facility, and the traditional country house setting.

Murder mystery weekends

Murder mystery weekends are not as popular as evening-only events, and as a result we provide this service purely “on-demand” and fully bespoke to each client.

Compered mystery evenings.

If you have a small space but are looking to attract customers without incurring vast cost, or have a business who wants to keep their staff entertained on a tight budget then why not consider using our “compered mystery evenings”.

Compered mysteries only require one actor to facilitate the evening, all the other roles are taken by the customers themselves who act as the suspects.

The games are run using our small group dinner party games, and character based large group games. Customers select a game in advance, and we work with them to supply invitations to their guests, as well as printed materials for them to use on the night. We provide the facilitating inspector and any additional props required.

Compered mysteries are considerably cheaper than a “regular” murder mystery night as the acting costs are lower (just one actor required for the evening).

If you have a member of staff who would like to take on the role of inspector, rather than hiring in our service each time, then we also provide a training service to teach them the ropes. Please contact us for details.
