It is the evening of the MVT Music Awards, held at the prestigious Saveloy Hotel in London.

As in all previous years, the MVT awards ceremony has attracted the most popular bands and artists who are all vying to win awards and gain as much publicity as possible.

Tipped for a number of awards is Freddy Neptune. After a wait of nearly three years, his latest album, Duck Soup, has been nominated for an unprecedented 7 awards.

Just before the evening is due to begin, there is a scream and Cilla Queen, one of Freddy’s long-term fans, runs into the room and announces to all that Freddy is dead!

But how did he die? And why? And who is responsible?

For added fun this game also contains a "spot the song" quiz - over 48 songs are included in the dialogues - can your guests spot them all?

  Dressed in leathers and ready to rock, Cilla is just crazy about her favourite band.



• Ted Long - Drummer.
  Wild and hairy, Ted has a passion for drumming and always has his sticks with him to tap out a beat – on anything!



• Ivan Titall - Freddy’s manager.
  A colour-blind flamboyant dresser with unusual tastes and a propensity to wear bright colours, Ivan is also often seen in socks and sandals.



• Ray Diogaga - Guitarist
  In leather trousers and flamboyant open shirt, Ray is a long haired wonder on the guitar.



• Daisy Littlething - Backing Vocalist
  In a provocative little black number Daisy has a fabulous voice and the looks to go with it.



• Sally Jay - Freddy’s ex-girlfriend.
  Stylishly dressed in her own “rock chick” apparel, Sally is still one of the band’s “inner circle”.

• Fatima Bottem - The band’s pyrotechnic’s expert
  Dressed in black and with pockets of tools, wires and other equipment, Fatima is a bit of fire starter and never without some matches.



• Seamus Gowon - Head of Wonvision Media.
  Dressed in a costume from one of the music videos as a promotional stunt Seamus would look distinctly strange anywhere else.



• Lily O’Valley - Personal assistant to Freddy Neptune.
  Rushed off her feet pandering to the star, Lily dresses rapidly and her hair is rarely done.



• Guy Sickle - Freddy’s personal trainer.
  Physically fit and bursting with energy, Guy loves spandex and showing off his figure.



• April Lady - Driver
  Used to hauling the band and their gear from place to place, April dresses comfortably in a band T-shirt and cap.



• Caesar Rye - Head of security
  Smartly dressed in a suit and tie, Caesar Rye is strong and not a man to be messed with.

Never run a large group mystery before? Then don't panic!

Hosting a Large Group Murder Mystery is time consuming, but with ample preparation and a good cast it is really quite simple and great fun!

In large group games it is impossible to give everyone a part, instead the mystery involves “cast members” who are fully in the know and act out the mystery, and the guests act as detectives trying to solve the murder.

Large group games come in several different formats, clue based, cast based, multi-room, single room, or a mixture of them all.

This particular game requires 7-13 cast, and one large room. It also has an option of a series of paper clues. Guests will also need paper and pens. This game works best as a sit down event with 6-12 tables of guests who work as a team, but the game can be adapted to suit most formats of events.

The game contains two options. Option 1: All clues are provided by cast members. Option 2: Guests receive questions to ask the suspects (cast members) on paper, and have to find out the answers to these questions from the cast.
